Terms for accessing PrintableLabelMaker.com and using its label-making tools, templates, downloads, and content.

Effective November 7, 2026Last updated

Welcome to PrintableLabelMaker.com (“PrintableLabelMaker,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of printablelabelmaker.com, its label and sticker design tools, template directories, guides, downloadable files, and related features (collectively, the “Services”).

Please read these Terms before using the Services. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who may use the Services

You may use the Services only if you can legally agree to these Terms or are using them with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where applicable. You are responsible for complying with laws and regulations that apply to your use of the Services.

We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any portion of the Services at any time, subject to applicable law.

2. Description of the Services

PrintableLabelMaker provides tools and information to help users design and print labels, stickers, name tags, shipping labels, QR code labels, and similar materials. Some features allow you to choose a sheet layout, customize the artwork, and export a PDF, SVG, PNG, or another supported file format.

The Services may include general label formats, manufacturer-compatible format references, editorial guides, and links to third-party products. Availability and features may change without notice.

The current tools generally do not require account registration. Unless a specific feature expressly states otherwise, use of the tools is offered without a subscription fee. Any paid feature introduced later will have its own clearly presented terms where required.

3. Your designs and uploaded content

You retain whatever ownership or other rights you already have in text, images, graphics, and other original content that you supply to the Services (“User Content”). Using our tools does not transfer ownership of your User Content to us.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to use, reproduce, print, or distribute any text, image, logo, trademark, font, or other material you include in a design. You must not use the Services in a way that infringes another person’s intellectual property or privacy rights.

To the extent necessary to provide a requested feature, you authorize the technical processing of User Content by your browser and any expressly used service providers. This permission is limited to operating the requested Services and does not grant us ownership of your designs.

You are responsible for maintaining copies of your work. Browser-stored information can be lost, cleared, or unavailable when you change devices, clear site data, or use private browsing.

4. Generated files and permitted use

Subject to these Terms and applicable third-party rights, you may use designs and files you create with our tools for personal or business purposes, including printing labels for products, packaging, storage, shipping, and other lawful uses.

This permission does not grant you ownership of third-party trademarks, copyrighted artwork, licensed fonts, manufacturer templates, or other protected materials included in or referenced by your designs. If you use third-party material, its applicable license or terms still govern.

We do not warrant that generated designs are unique or that they will be available for trademark, copyright, or other legal protection.

5. Printing, dimensions, and template accuracy

You are responsible for checking all dimensions and test-printing before using purchased label stock or producing materials in quantity. Even when a template is based on a published or measured layout, results can vary because of printer settings, software scaling, paper feed, printer calibration, margins, stock tolerances, and other factors.

Always verify the sheet size, label dimensions, printer compatibility, orientation, printable area, and printing scale. For best results, begin with a test print on ordinary paper at 100% / Actual Size and compare the print with your label stock.

We do not guarantee perfect alignment, color matching, cut placement, barcode or QR-code readability, or compatibility with every printer, material, or application. You assume the risk of paper, ink, toner, materials, packaging, and other costs associated with printing or production.

6. Manufacturer names and compatibility references

Names and product identifiers such as Avery, manufacturer-specific template numbers, and compatible product references are used for descriptive, identification, and compatibility purposes. Unless we expressly state otherwise, PrintableLabelMaker is an independent website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Avery or any other manufacturer.

All third-party trademarks, product names, logos, and trade dress remain the property of their respective owners. Product compatibility information may change; verify details with the manufacturer or seller before purchasing.

7. QR codes, barcodes, and external destinations

You are responsible for the content and destination of QR codes, URLs, and other machine-readable information created using the Services. Do not create codes that facilitate fraud, deception, unauthorized access, or unlawful activity.

We do not guarantee that a QR code will scan reliably at every size or print quality, or that its linked destination will remain available, safe, or unchanged. Test each code after printing and before distributing it.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harmful, or infringing activity.
  • Upload or use material without appropriate rights, permissions, or authorization.
  • Interfere with the security, availability, or operation of the Site or other users’ access.
  • Introduce malicious code, abuse forms, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or information.
  • Use automated activity in a manner that unreasonably burdens or disrupts the Services.
  • Misrepresent your relationship with PrintableLabelMaker, a manufacturer, or a retailer.
  • Remove or circumvent security-related or access-related technical restrictions.

We may restrict access, remove content within our control, or take other appropriate action if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

9. Website content and intellectual property

Except for User Content and third-party materials, the Site’s original software, interface, text, design, branding, and other content are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, nonexclusive, revocable permission to access and use the Services for their intended purposes in accordance with these Terms. This permission does not authorize you to copy, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Site’s software or content outside the intended functionality without permission, except as permitted by law.

You may link to publicly available pages on the Site in a lawful and nonmisleading manner.

The Services may link to products and services offered by Amazon, Avery, and other third parties. We do not control the third-party websites, product descriptions, availability, transactions, pricing, shipping, returns, warranties, or customer support.

Some shopping links are affiliate or referral links, meaning we may receive compensation if you make a qualifying purchase or take another eligible action. We aim to disclose compensated relationships where appropriate. The inclusion of a product or link does not constitute a guarantee, endorsement, or recommendation for every use case.

If we participate in Amazon Associates, we may state: As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. This statement applies only during participation in that program. You are subject to the retailer’s separate terms when visiting or transacting on its website.

11. Guides, articles, and other information

Our tutorials, compatibility descriptions, articles, reviews, and other informational materials are provided for general educational purposes. They are not professional printing, engineering, legal, financial, or other specialized advice.

We try to keep the information useful and accurate, but specifications, prices, product listings, and recommended settings may become outdated. You should independently confirm important details before relying on them.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle information related to use of the Services. By using the Site, you acknowledge that policy. If you submit information through a contact or issue-report form, you are responsible for avoiding unnecessary sensitive or confidential information.

13. Availability and changes

We may update, add, or remove templates, tools, content, export options, and features at our discretion. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, ongoing availability of any particular template, or that files and preferences will remain stored between visits.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. This includes, to the extent legally permitted, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be error-free, that generated files will be suitable for a particular printer or product, or that defects will be corrected. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PrintableLabelMaker and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or wasted materials arising from use of the Services.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us directly for the Services during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not restrict any liability that cannot legally be limited, including applicable statutory consumer rights.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless PrintableLabelMaker and its operators from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your User Content, or a material violation of these Terms. This provision does not apply where it is prohibited by law.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms will be interpreted under the laws applicable to the operator of PrintableLabelMaker, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence. Before bringing a formal dispute, we encourage you to contact us through the contact page so we can try to resolve the matter informally.

Any dispute-resolution, venue, or jurisdiction rules will apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising rights that cannot legally be waived.

18. Severability and entire agreement

If a provision of these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly applicable to a feature, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Services.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.

19. Contact
